Even BetaCAP60 is built in the version CAP60X100 which includes the same pre-divider module used to empower BetaCAP30 The difference with BetaCAP60 is that it has two inputs for the gas to be diluted, but just one of them can be pre-diluted and it is TG1. The next image shows how the pre-diluter is connected and also shows BetaCAL60, the optional flow meter used during the self test automatic function.

It can be interesting to evaluate how the wide available dilution range can open new opportunities in gas analyzers testing :

• Testing air quality analyzers : in this application, the typical concentrations required for reference gases are between few ppm and few hundreds ppb and this can be satisfied by BetaCAP60X100 and reference test gases containing about the concentration to be measured at few Hundreds ppm: this allows using down to few ppb for calibrations      Those gas cylinders are much more stable and cheap than gas bottles containing few ppm.   Having a gas divider in the testing circuit, the gas to be diluted consumption is much less than without divider.

• Testing Emissions Monitoring Systems the useful concentrations for linearity tests are between 250 and few ppm: having an high ratio diluter, this requires test gas bottles with measurand component up to 100% concentration.  Once solved the transport and handling  limitations with pure gases, the advantages are very important, considering the much lower consumption and a much higher quality  (no expiration dates and uncertainty reduced from thousand to few ppm
