The gas divider BetaCAP30 may manage up to 31 dilution rates equally spaced from 0 to 100%. To that purpose it uses 30 identical glass capillaries.  Pressure balancing is driven by differential pressure indication, but may also be corrected by optional software. Optional pressure balancing unit available.

BetaCAL100E3 is under development (see the picture of the prototype). It’s a very advanced project that uses 6 MFCs, 3 pressure regulators and a solenoid valves network to allow flexible interconnections. A proprietary “self-referring” calibration procedure controls the matching and linearity of all the MFCs and than the dilution rates accuracy.  By series blending, dilution rates up to 1/1.000.000 are allowed, opening the opportunity to get down to 1 ppm from a pure gas dilution. Some more details can be read in the article “Self-referring procedure for the full calibration of a dynamic gas blender”.

The device will be completely driven by a PC with dedicated software, allowing fully automatic test of multi-component analysers.

Sensitivity and interference tests may also be done : in fact two gases may be independently blended in a third gas.
